Job summary
Nextiva is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to build, maintain, and automate cloud infrastructure while collaborating with the Engineering team to implement optimal cloud-based solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of software development or DevOps experience
- Required cloud-related certifications
- Expert experience with cloud container technologies
- CI/CD experience with relevant technologies
- Experience with middleware technologies
- Strong software engineering experience
- Working knowledge of databases
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Awareness of networking and internet protocols
- Extensive experience with open-source technology
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions
- Manage cloud environments according to security guidelines
- Educate teams on new cloud-based initiatives
- Stay current with industry trends and make recommendations
- Promote and train best practices with software development teams
