Job summary
Okt*** is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to contribute to their Privileged Access Management (PAM) initiative, focusing on developing secure, cloud-based infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of programming experience in Go, Java, or C++
- 4+ years experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent databases
- Technical grasp of architecting and debugging large cloud deployments
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals like data structures
- Deep understanding of REST APIs and experience building them
- Experience with AWS, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kinesis, Kafka, Docker
- Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization
- Commitment to software engineering best practices
- Familiarity with Agile software development process
Responsibilities
- Leverage AI pair-programmers to accelerate development of PAM products
- Contribute to Okt***’s FedRAMP initiative
- Design, develop and deliver cloud-based infrastructure projects
- Drive evaluation, development, and rollout of microservices
- Operate, support, and upgrade shared services and frameworks
- Evaluate and scale existing systems to meet requirements
- Lead design and code reviews for scalability and redundancy
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and fix owned services and frameworks
- Evaluate system performance and resolve bottlenecks
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Collaborate with architects, QA, product owners, and engineers
