Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to support the Sentinel program in Roy, Utah. The role involves software development, system architecture design, and collaboration with a team to establish automated tools and test procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of relevant experience; 10 Years with Masters; 8 Years with PhD; or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval
• 4 years experience with build tools and/or continuous integration environments and/or repositories in a Linux environment.
• 4 years experience of Microsoft and Linux Red Hat operating system.
• 4 years experience with scripting languages.
• 4 years experience with container orchestration and container technologies.
• 2 years experience with deploying and configuring Microsoft Internet Information System (IIS)
• IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Design and define system architecture for new or existing software products
• Develop software in an agile development environment
• Design automated test procedures for software verification activities
• Collaborate with the lead software engineer and a team of software engineers to establish and develop automated tools
• Develop Software Test Plans and Procedures for team software products
