Qualifications
- 7+ years of related experience in Microsoft Azure Platform or Similar Cloud Platform support experience
- expertise in Microsoft Azure & Microsoft Fabric
- working knowledge of data engineering frameworks and data lifecycle concepts
- familiarity with data cataloging, lineage, and quality tools
- previous leadership experience preferred
- intermediate to advanced knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking preferred
- advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations
- advanced proven experience in leading cross-functional teams
- advanced ability to see the big picture and align projects with organizational goals
- advanced speaking and writing communication skills
Responsibilities
- enable scalable, secure, and governed data solutions
- facilitate dialogue and activities to ensure team collaboration
- lead the strategic planning of a project as it relates to technical solution design
- design and implement engineering principles aimed at reliability practices
- develop and maintain technical documentation
- build, configure, and manage enterprise data platform services
- own platform availability, reliability, and performance
- implement backup, recovery, and failover strategies
- manage capacity planning, cost optimization, and workload isolation strategies
- ensure platform compliance with enterprise governance, regulatory standards, and audit requirements
- create and maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational documentation
- support production operations through incident triage, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
