Job summary
The Staff Infrastructure Engineer improves end-to-end production workflows by identifying bottlenecks that delay delivery, increase costs, or reduce quality, then leading cross-team engineering changes to address them. The role maps workflows from business demand through data processing to delivery, coordinates changes across infrastructure, services, tooling, and working practices, and measures outcomes using lead time, throughput, quality, and unit cost.

Qualifications
- Experience owning production systems and improving multiple services or teams
- Ability to reconcile conflicting goals, clarify ownership, and build consensus without direct authority
- Ability to connect technical constraints to business delivery needs and prioritize problems
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and distinguish symptoms from root causes across technical and organizational boundaries
- Experience improving complex data production workflows or leading cross-team platform changes is a plus
