Qualifications
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Airflow, DBT, Snowflake, and AWS
- Experience with transformation frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Experience with data processing patterns across ingestion and transformation
- Capability in automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code
- Ability to build reliable and scalable solutions
- Understanding of release and risk management processes
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers in full stack engineering and platform development
- Provide technical leadership across platform engineering initiatives
- Support platform strategy, roadmap, architecture, and design
- Design and evolve platform capabilities for engineering and data teams
- Establish engineering standards and reusable patterns
- Drive automation practices for platform components
- Improve developer experience with self-service capabilities
- Collaborate with teams to ensure platform solutions meet standards
- Identify and remediate technical debt and risks
- Drive platform observability and performance engineering
- Proactively manage current and future risks
