Staff Platform Engineer

Job summary

Nango is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to manage and scale their cloud infrastructure, focusing on customer deployments and operationalizing their infrastructure as code.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Deep Kubernetes experience.
• Experience in BYOC and controlled environments.
• Fluency in AWS; exposure to GCP and Azure is a plus.
• Proficient in Terraform.
• Strong database skills, especially in Postgres.
• Experience with SOC 2 or ISO audits.
• Ability to empathize with developers and customers.
• Strong communicator in remote environments.
• Pragmatic and positive approach.
• Autonomous and ownership-driven.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale cloud infrastructure for the open-source platform.
• Lead BYOC deployments with provisioning and observability.
• Operationalize IaC and GitOps for fast shipping.
• Ensure reliability with meaningful SLOs and incident processes.
• Manage data layer including Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse.
• Oversee security and compliance aspects.
• Contribute to roadmap and company strategy.
