Job summary
Postscript is seeking an experienced Staff Platform Engineer to design and operate their next-generation CDP and messaging platform.
Qualifications
- 5+ years operating production Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure
- Strong Terraform and GitOps/Kustomize skills
- Experience in incident response for distributed systems
- Fluency with Postgres and streaming technologies
- Comfortable working with AI agents
- Proactive in reducing manual steps
Responsibilities
- Own infrastructure topology and scaling boundaries
- Build validation gates and runbooks
- Diagnose novel failures and write runbooks
- Manage 500K events/sec target and load testing
- Oversee IAM/IRSA and secret rotation
- Ensure skills and runbooks are up to date
- Lead incidents and document fixes
