Job summary

Pal*** is seeking a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to support their large infrastructure and services, focusing on automation, architecture, performance, observability, troubleshooting, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in Infrastructure, Operations, DevOps, or System Engineering
• 1+ years building scalable cloud-native applications on AWS and GCP
• Expertise in public cloud, GCP and AWS preferred
• Expertise in configuration management with Terraform, Helm
• Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, or DevOps
• Passion for infrastructure and monitoring as code
• Experience with container workloads and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with PKI and Networking concepts
• Proficiency in Golang or Python and shell scripting
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps principles
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-disciplined and motivated
• Ability to quickly learn new technology stacks

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of SRE and DevOps
• Develop expertise in new technologies
• Collaborate with developers, researchers, data scientists, and security experts
• Design, build, and operate reliable, secure Cloud infrastructure
• Ensure applications are production-ready, scalable, and reliable
• Develop tools and automation frameworks
• Automate deployment of services
• Orchestrate monitoring and alerting
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Lead root cause analysis of critical issues
