Job summary

The Staff Site Reliability Engineer role is pivotal in transforming Site Reliability Engineering into a Platform as a Service (PaaS) organization, focusing on the Kubernetes platform. Responsibilities include architecting the Kubernetes infrastructure, resolving complex reliability issues, and enhancing SDLC processes for infrastructure-as-code, while collaborating with global teams to maintain a coherent platform strategy.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields
• Expertise in Kubernetes at production scale
• Experience with large-scale public cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and CI/CD
• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure
• Familiarity with observability tools in large environments
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams
• Strong communication skills
• Computer Science degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the Kubernetes platform
• Lead technical design and rollout of self-service capabilities
• Drive platform readiness for AI-driven workflows
• Resolve complex reliability issues
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Set technical standards for SLIs/SLOs
• Improve SDLC processes for infrastructure-as-code
• Mentor engineers
• Collaborate with architects and security teams
• Represent the team in global architecture discussions
