Staff Site Reliability Engineer (x/f/m)

Job summary

Doctolib is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to enhance platform reliability and scalability across Europe. The role involves leading reliability initiatives, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with software teams to embed reliability practices in the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (8+ years) in SRE or platform engineering
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience implementing SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets in production
• Experience managing on-call rotations and incident response
• Strong systems engineering background with backend programming fluency
• Ability to lead through influence
• Comfortable balancing long-term architecture with iterative improvements
• Clear and concise communication skills
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale cross-cutting reliability initiatives
• Identify and drive improvements to incident detection and response
• Define and evolve SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Mentor and coach senior engineers
• Provide technical guidance to leadership
• Collaborate with software teams to embed reliability practices
