Job summary
The Staff Software Engineer - Tools & Infrastructure / DevOps role focuses on designing and evolving CI/CD pipelines to enhance build, test, and release workflows. Key responsibilities include improving artifact lifecycle systems, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and contributing to AI tooling to boost engineering productivity, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD systems, AWS, and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or related area
- Deep hands-on experience with CI/CD systems
- Experience with artifact repositories
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS
- Strong experience with distributed version control systems
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with containerization and orchestration, preferably Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve CI/CD pipelines
- Own and improve artifact lifecycle systems
- Partner with development teams to design and improve code review workflows
- Provision, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot complex build failures
- Design and drive improvements to internal build infrastructure
- Identify systemic bottlenecks across developer workflows
- Contribute to AI tooling efforts
- Provide technical leadership across projects
- Participate in on-call and incident response
