Job summary

This internship supports the group Data Platform team in developing and operating a Lakehouse platform for integrating and using data across domains including HR, inventory, and sales. Responsibilities include building data pipelines, automating Snowflake and AWS infrastructure with Terraform/Terragrunt and CloudFormation, and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines for Python and dbt workloads on ECS orchestrated by Airflow. The role also contributes to platform security, monitoring, FinOps cost dashboards, and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master's-level engineering degree
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, and SQL
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, AWS CLI, and infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of dbt, ETL development, and scalable storage such as S3 or Snowflake
• Knowledge of cloud development, preferably on AWS
• Written and spoken English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Design pipelines to collect, organize, and synthesize large volumes of data
• Maintain and evolve the Lakehouse data platform
• Help select technologies for data storage and processing
• Contribute to data coding and architecture best practices
• Build and maintain GitLab CI pipelines and runners for Python and dbt workloads on ECS, orchestrated with Airflow
• Automate Snowflake and AWS resources using Terraform, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation
• Help secure environments through least-privilege IAM, secrets management, and identity integrations
• Implement centralized monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch
• Create FinOps dashboards to track AWS and Snowflake costs
• Integrate code quality and linting tools into CI/CD pipelines
• Document the platform and create architecture blueprints
