Job summary

This internship develops CloudQuest, a collaborative Capture the Flag-inspired training platform that helps employees learn cloud technologies as part of secure digital transformation and cloud migration projects. The intern will assess the existing platform and challenges, analyze proposed multi-cloud, FinOps, and SRE observability enhancements, then update the CI/CD pipeline, deploy and test features, and validate the solution through a pilot event.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an engineering school, master's program, or equivalent, with a DevOps or Cloud specialization.
• Knowledge of GCP services, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, and VPC Network; S3NS; and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Ansible.
• Knowledge of GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with VS Code and ability to use AI in development.
• Basic English communication and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Study the existing platform, business context, technical environment, and CloudQuest challenges.
• Analyze proposed enhancements, including multi-cloud support, new challenges, employee-created challenges, self-service individual labs, FinOps, and SRE observability indicators.
• Adapt the CI/CD pipeline and deploy and test new features.
• Validate the platform through a pilot event.
