Job summary

This internship focuses on designing and industrializing a cloud backup and recovery component to improve the resilience of critical systems and protect customer data from operational risks and cyber threats. The intern will compare cloud-native backup solutions, implement automated, encrypted, and immutable backups for virtual machines and GKE clusters, and automate deployment using Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an engineering degree, master's degree, or equivalent, with a specialization in Cloud or DevOps.
• Interest in GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of backup and high-availability strategies.

Responsibilities

• Compare backup solutions for cloud-native architectures, including dependencies, advantages, disadvantages, and security compliance.
• Implement automated, encrypted, and immutable backups for virtual machines and GKE clusters.
• Automate solution deployment with Terraform and Ansible and integrate it into a GitLab CI pipeline.
