Job summary
Axians is seeking a Storage Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support enterprise storage platforms, primarily Ceph and GPFS/IBM Storage Scale.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise storage environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ceph and/or GPFS in production.
- Understanding of storage operations, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
- Proactive and collaborative approach to support critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise storage platforms, ensuring stability, security, and high availability.
- Proactively monitor storage usage and perform capacity planning.
- Support backup and recovery processes for data protection and resilience.
- Troubleshoot and optimize storage performance.
- Implement enhancements and explore automation opportunities.
