Aechelon Technology, Inc. is seeking a skilled Storage Systems Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and scale Windows-based storage systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering experience with Windows Server deployment environments
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows clustering, Storage Spaces Direct
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills
- Experience with repeatable infrastructure deployments
- Strong troubleshooting and systems analysis capabilities
- Experience in a fast-paced product engineering environment
- Experience with hardware/software integrated systems
- Exposure to enterprise security tooling and endpoint protection
- Experience leading system upgrades or migration projects
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable Windows-based storage systems
- Collaborate on scalable Windows-based storage systems
- Refine standardized, repeatable Windows Server deployments
- Support clustering, failover, and high-availability architectures
- Provide input on architectural decisions
- Develop automation for system provisioning and configuration management
- Enhance PowerShell-based automation
- Improve tooling to reduce manual configuration
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for Windows-based platform builds
- Create automation for lifecycle management
- Develop tooling to support System Engineers and customer deployments
- Collaborate with hardware teams for feedback
- Follow security guidance and implement threat protection
- Contribute to technical documentation
