Job summary

As a Strategic Consultant for DevOps & Infrastructure, you will actively shape the content orientation of the DevOps and infrastructure portfolio, translating market trends into viable business areas. You will develop new services and offerings with Business Development, from the initial idea to go-to-market. This role involves coordinating collaboration with other Bechtle Delivery units, system houses, and Competence Centers, ensuring sustainable supply chains.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, a comparable technical degree, or relevant vocational training with sound professional experience.
• Several years of experience in the strategic environment of DevOps, cloud platforms, and modern IT infrastructure, ideally from a consulting, system house, or platform engineering context.
• Ability to think in business models and portfolios rather than individual topics.
• Ability to translate technological trends into service and offering concepts.
• Convincing in dealing with manufacturers and partners through commitment, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
• Knowledge of how alliances, programs, and certifications function.
• Ability to navigate confidently between technical teams, sales, and management.
• Ability to interact at C-level as an equal.
• Ability to pragmatically moderate different interests.
• Self-responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Willingness to travel within Germany.
• Fluent in German and good English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively shape the content orientation of the DevOps and infrastructure portfolio as a strategic sparring partner for the division management.
• Translate market trends into viable business areas.
• Develop new services and offerings with Business Development, from initial idea to portfolio positioning and go-to-market.
• Manage strategic partner and manufacturer relationships in DevOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure.
• Design alliances, certification paths, and co-selling initiatives.
• Coordinate collaboration with other Bechtle Delivery units, system houses, and Competence Centers across locations.
• Ensure sustainable supply chains.
• Accompany account and solution teams in strategically relevant pre-sales situations.
• Advise customers at C-level.
• Translate technical depth into business value.
• Monitor market, competition, and technology trends.
• Provide impulses for investment decisions.
• Continuously develop the DevOps and infrastructure roadmap.
