Job summary

The System Administrator 2 position involves providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems, including UNIX and Windows operating systems.

Qualifications

• Ten years' experience as a System Administrator in similar programs.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Five years of additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Support escalation and communication of status to management and customers.
• Assist with dispatch system and hardware problem resolution.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, troubleshoot, and implement enhancements.
