System Analyst - SRE

Job summary

This role supports the reliability and production readiness of high-availability card payment systems, covering issuance, authorization, dispute management, and reconciliation. The work includes incident and problem management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, impact and dependency assessment, and support for system integration and SIT/UAT. It applies SRE practices, SQL, WebLogic or WebSphere, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Grafana.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in production/application support, SRE, or infrastructure support for card payment technology
• Experience in SRE, production engineering/support, or solution engineering
• Strong Cards and Payments knowledge, including issuance, authorization, dispute management, and reconciliation
• Experience supporting 24/7 high-availability transactional systems
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with WebLogic/WebSphere and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Grafana
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, security, compliance, HA/DR, RTO/RPO, performance, and capacity management
• Experience with Agile, Jira, and Confluence

Responsibilities

• Support production applications and infrastructure for card payment systems
• Manage production incidents and problems, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Assess functional specifications, system flows, impacts, and dependencies
• Support 24/7 high-availability transactional systems and critical production incidents
• Support requirements analysis, system integration, SIT/UAT, and production readiness
• Collaborate with business teams, technology teams, and external vendors
