Job summary

R+V Versicherung AG is seeking a System Platform Engineer for their AI platform, focusing on engineering methods and cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Natural Sciences, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Interest in modern data and cloud technologies, especially Azure Machine Learning and Data Ingestion.
• Experience in creating and debugging Docker images, and working with Terraform and Python.
• Knowledge of Azure infrastructures and services, including VNets and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Experience in connecting cloud environments to corporate networks.
• Practical experience with coding agents and understanding of AI-assisted coding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI solutions using engineering methods and cloud architectures.
• Work in a Scrum team from specification to implementation with a focus on scalability and stability.
• Utilize CI/CD practices including builds, tests, security scans, and monitoring.
• Define and implement proof of concepts and prototypes.
• Conceptualize and implement individual solutions.
• Continuously scout technologies, methods, and tools while sharing knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Engineers for effective solutions.
• Utilize Docker for operations and troubleshooting, with experience in connecting cloud environments to corporate networks.
