Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an academic program and returning to studies
- Motivated with a strong desire to learn
- Understanding of Information Technology operating processes for effective delivery, including IT Operations mandatory operating standards for monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Knowledge of support and operations practice, concepts, and technology
- Technical and/or business functional knowledge of systems, tools, timing, and dependencies
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing resources in AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Strong administration expertise in Linux (CLI-based) and Windows Server environments
- Experience with Ansible, CDK, CDK TF, CloudFormation
- Solid knowledge and experience in middleware such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat, WebSphere
- Experience troubleshooting application issues from middleware and OS perspective
- Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
- Experience provisioning immutable cloud resources

Responsibilities
- Monitor, restore service, change, support, and handle day-to-day activities for mission-critical systems 24/7/365
- Ensure business service levels are met and environments are managed
- Monitor and ensure service restoration of infrastructure, applications, and security, meeting service level agreements
- Provide Help/Service Desk support
- Coordinate and facilitate Incident Management
- Deploy changes to the production environment
- Engage third-party providers during incidents
- Provide immediate response to production program or system problems
- Participate in testing cycles to ensure deployability and operability of infrastructure and applications
- Deploy, implement, and provision applications and infrastructure per deployment plans and build guides
- Work with development teams to build solutions using enterprise monitoring/logging, that are self-healing and require minimal maintenance
- Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
- Monitor and track performance, addressing any issues
- Break down strategic problems and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
- Lead/conduct incident recovery and detailed root cause analysis
- Deploy manual code to production environment
- Facilitate or complete analysis, design, and configuration of solutions for complex technology problems to improve data center and support activities
- Provide end-to-end technology support including computer, applications, network, storage, and root-cause analysis
- Drive and promote new processes, systems, technology, and operations for performance and expanded capabilities
- Proactively monitor system performance and identify operational improvements for customer and business partner delivery
