Job summary
Manage and improve enterprise Linux infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role in a large enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience with RHEL at scale
- Automation experience with Ansible, Bash, Python, and GitHub
- Experience with Red Hat Satellite and Hybrid Cloud Console
- Virtualization experience with VMware and/or Nutanix
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and ITIL processes
- Understanding of IPv4, PKI, and access management
Responsibilities
- Manage and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) across various environments
- Operate service requests and incidents through ServiceNow
- Maintain platform currency via patching and upgrades
- Build reusable automation with Ansible, Bash, Python, and GitHub
- Support hybrid infrastructure across VMware, Nutanix, and Azure
- Contribute to capacity and availability planning
- Produce technical documentation and automation playbooks
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule
