Systems Administrator | Kubernetes

Job summary

As a Kubernetes Administrator, you will support the availability and reliability of on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure while providing operational support and enhancing automation practices.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Kubernetes Administrator or in a comparable infrastructure-focused role.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX administration and operational support.
• Capability in developing automation using Python, Go, Bash or similar languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability practices.
• Experience supporting virtualised and/or cloud-based environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
• Ability to investigate complex incidents and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Support the availability, capacity and reliability of on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 operational support and lead incident response activities.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting and logging capabilities.
• Enhance automation and CI/CD practices across the environment.
