Job summary

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to ensure the smooth operation of hybrid cloud and on-premise systems.

Qualifications

• Must align with OKCIC vision and core values.
• Required Certifications: VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred Experience: Multi-campus or healthcare environment.
• Preferred Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Veeam Certified Engineer, Google Cloud Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Analyze business workflows for automation and efficiency improvements.
• Design system architecture and ensure ongoing maintenance and compliance.
• Manage integration of on-premise and cloud-based systems.
• Lead project teams in deploying new systems.
• Assist in migrating on-premise systems to cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and execute system testing plans.
• Ensure system uptime through proactive monitoring.
• Apply security patches promptly using automated tools.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Manage backup and disaster recovery systems.
• Perform monthly backup test restores.
• Assist in developing disaster recovery plans.
• Support endpoint and mobile device management platforms.
• Manage IT onboarding for new employees.
• Maintain documentation of configurations and system changes.
• Participate in the Change Management process.
• Monitor system capacity and plan hardware/software refresh cycles.
• Train end-users and provide technical support.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
