Job summary
Maintains and improves secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and database environments supporting critical applications across development, testing, training, and production. The role administers AWS resources and SQL databases, supports CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments, and performs security maintenance, troubleshooting, and infrastructure optimization in collaboration with software, DevOps, and data engineering teams.

Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience with SQL databases, including administration, sizing, and performance optimization.
- At least 4 years of experience administering Linux or Windows environments.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Elasticsearch.
- At least 2 years of experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience provisioning, securing, and maintaining AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience supporting automated build and deployment pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and improving secure, scalable systems infrastructure.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, manage, and secure AWS resources.
- Administer databases and support database sizing, performance optimization, and server security.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.
- Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments.
- Perform infrastructure maintenance, vulnerability scanning, patch management, and system troubleshooting.
- Manage VPNs and maintain SSL/TLS certificates.
- Design and implement infrastructure improvements for security, performance, availability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and data engineering teams to maintain stable environments and support deployments.
