Job summary

The Team Lead – Kubernetes Operations is a hands-on technical leader responsible for the ownership, reliability, and evolution of the organization’s Kubernetes platforms while leading a team of Site Reliability Engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in building and maintaining Kubernetes platforms
• 5+ years of experience with configuration management and automation tools
• Proven experience installing and managing Kubernetes platforms
• Strong understanding of container orchestration and security
• Strong automation experience through pipelines and GitOps
• Familiar with Agile methodologies
• Experience in administering Unix based operating systems
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Own the end to end lifecycle of Kubernetes platforms
• Lead the technical direction for Kubernetes platforms
• Define and enforce platform standards and best practices
• Act as a subject matter expert for Kubernetes
• Lead the implementation of automation and GitOps pipelines
• Drive configuration management and platform automation
• Manage and develop a team of Site Reliability Engineers
• Provide technical guidance and performance feedback
• Support incident management and root cause analysis
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams
