Job summary

IBB Institut für Berufliche Bildung AG is seeking a Team Lead for their DevSecOps team, responsible for leading the team, developing security infrastructure, and ensuring security is integrated into all processes.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience at the intersection of IT security and infrastructure/DevOps.
• Proficient in CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi).
• Good knowledge of SIEM, EDR, network security, and/or penetration testing.
• Experience in leading or coordinating technical teams.
• Ability to explain technical matters clearly to various stakeholders.
• Fluent in German (minimum C1 level).

Responsibilities

• Lead the DevSecOps team and develop individual growth plans.
• Build a team culture and identity.
• Enhance security infrastructure: SIEM, EDR, Monitoring integrated with DevOps.
• Create and maintain security policies, risk analyses, and incident response plans.
• Advise development teams on secure coding and security best practices.
• Shape the company-wide IT security strategy in coordination with management.
• Ensure security-by-design in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Drive the development of the infrastructure platform: automation and self-service.
• Ensure systems are highly available, resilient, and secure.
