Job summary
The Tech Lead AI DevOps / Infrastructure is a hands-on player-coach who leads a small team while migrating, securing, and scaling cloud infrastructure. The role establishes reliable operations for monitoring, uptime, backups and recovery, access management, security updates, and cost control, and uses AI to automate DevOps work such as incident analysis and runbook creation. It also supports engineering teams and prepares the team to evolve toward Platform Engineering.

Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Initial lead experience in architecture, technical decisions, or mentoring.
- Practical experience using AI to automate and secure operations and infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration.
- Experience operating an enterprise stack that includes data warehouses, applications, databases, logging, security audits, and permission systems.
- Knowledge of security, backups, and recovery.
- Experience with CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
- Ability to create structure and scalability in fast-growing environments.
- Professional fluency in German and English.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small DevOps team while remaining a hands-on contributor.
- Own cloud infrastructure migration, scaling, maintenance, and security.
- Establish processes for monitoring, uptime, backups and recovery, access management, security updates, and cost control.
- Apply AI to incident analysis, infrastructure code, and runbooks, and automate recurring operational tasks.
- Support internal and external development teams with reliable DevOps capabilities.
- Prepare the team to evolve toward Platform Engineering.
