Tech Lead SRE (IT) / Freelance

Job summary

Le Tech Lead SRE définit les standards de fiabilité et contribue à garantir la disponibilité, la performance et la sécurité d’une plateforme de paiement critique opérant à l’échelle européenne. Il pilote les pratiques SRE, l’observabilité, l’automatisation IaC, la gestion des incidents et les contrôles de sécurité, dans un environnement cloud réglementé utilisant notamment IBM Cloud, Kubernetes et OpenShift, soumis aux référentiels PCI-DSS, DORA et ISO 27001.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, cloud, infrastructure, or production engineering for critical platforms with high availability requirements.
• Professional fluency in French and English at C1/C2 level.
• Experience using generative AI tools such as Claude in a professional context.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in distributed environments.
• Engineering degree or Master 2 in computer science.
• Payment, finance, or regulated-environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure system availability, performance, and resilience against SLOs and SLAs.
• Define and manage reliability indicators, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Design and evolve observability, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Automate infrastructure deployment, operations, and administration using Infrastructure as Code.
• Lead critical incident response, root cause analyses, and postmortems.
• Develop and maintain operational security controls for IAM, ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, IPsec, and secrets management.
• Document architectures and contribute to operability and resilience reviews.
• Help development teams improve application operational quality.
• Maintain compliance with PCI-DSS, DORA, ISO 27001, and IBM FS Cloud requirements.
• Mentor SRE engineers and promote good practices.
