Technology Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

Maintains and supports internal infrastructure and cloud services, helping ensure the stability of systems across Windows Server, hardware, identity management, security, and cloud platforms. Resolves third-line incidents, administers and patches servers and virtualized environments, and supports Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft 365. Also delivers infrastructure project work involving Active Directory, VMware vSphere, Veeam, and server and storage platforms.

• Experience administering, deploying, and troubleshooting Windows Server.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS and DHCP.
• Virtualization experience, preferably with VMware vSphere 7.0 or later.
• Knowledge of Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, enterprise applications, and single sign-on.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience supporting server and storage hardware, preferably HPE platforms.
• Strong analytical skills for responding to technical issues.
• Desirable experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Desirable understanding of Terraform and GitHub administration.
• Desirable experience with CyberArk or Zscaler ZIA and ZPA.
• Organized, punctual, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Resolve infrastructure incidents escalated from the Service Desk as a third-line support contact.
• Respond to critical incidents within agreed service-level agreements.
• Investigate recurring incidents, identify root causes, and recommend long-term improvements.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware vSphere environments.
• Apply patches, configuration changes, and system updates.
• Support server and storage hardware, including HPE platforms.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Support identity, access, and core infrastructure workloads across cloud and SaaS platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure project work involving servers, storage, Active Directory, VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Veeam, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Microsoft 365.
• Take technical responsibility for assigned small infrastructure projects and support delivery of larger projects.
