Temper - Infrastructure/Platform Engineer

Job summary

Own the infrastructure and platform layer of an agentic integration platform, building its runtime, agent infrastructure, observability pipeline, and self-hostable deployment from the ground up. The role includes delivering durable execution, sandboxed isolation, self-healing, and production infrastructure for coding agents that generate, test, and deploy integrations, using Kubernetes, AWS or GCP, Docker, and TypeScript. It also involves hiring and building the infrastructure team, with potential to grow into leadership.

• 2-10 years of cloud infrastructure and platform engineering experience
• At least 3 years of experience at high-growth startups
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or GCP, and TypeScript
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and ship to production frequently

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure and platform layer end-to-end
• Build and scale infrastructure for coding agents that write, test, and deploy integration code in production
• Design observability that gives enterprise customers visibility into integrations and agents
• Architect and deliver single-tenant, self-hostable deployments for customers' cloud environments
• Help recruit and build the infrastructure team, with potential to grow into a leadership role
