Test Automation Engineer – Medical Imaging

Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for various applications.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in software test automation
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, C# or JavaScript
• Experience supporting software verification activities within regulated medical device environments
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks
• Experience with UI, API, and integration test automation
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience using version control systems
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build processes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• German language proficiency

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for desktop, web, and backend applications
• Develop automated functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define automation strategies and improve software quality
• Design and implement reusable automation libraries and utilities following software engineering best practices
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
• Review product requirements and technical specifications to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the automation framework
• Support build, deployment, and automation activities through basic DevOps practices
• Ensure automation solutions are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with software design principles
