Job summary

The Test Automation Platform Engineer builds and evolves a global platform that helps development teams deliver high-quality software faster and with greater confidence. The role covers platform architecture, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement, with a focus on API-first testing-as-code, CI/CD integration, and self-service test data generation, execution, and reporting. It also involves gathering developer feedback and shaping the platform roadmap.

Qualifications

• Background in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Experience building, operating, or extending test automation solutions, engineering platforms, or developer tools.
• Hands-on experience with performance, functional, or end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Playwright, k6, Selenium, or comparable testing technologies.
• Software or platform engineering experience, ideally with Java or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, APIs, automation, and cloud-native technologies.
• Experience integrating testing solutions with CI/CD platforms, particularly GitLab, and reporting test results to ticketing systems such as Jira is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the global test automation platform.
• Manage the platform lifecycle from architecture and implementation through operation and continuous improvement.
• Gather development teams' needs and feedback and translate them into platform capabilities.
• Improve developer workflows and self-service capabilities.
• Promote testing-as-code through an API-first platform with CI/CD integration.
• Build self-service capabilities for test data generation, test execution, and reporting.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and software quality engineering direction.
