Job summary
The Senior AI Platforms Engineer supports the secure, reliable and scalable delivery of enterprise AI capabilities for university staff and students, working full-time in an AI Enablement Office. The role administers ChatGPT Edu, Microsoft Azure AI, Copilot and Cogniti; deploys AI agents, integrations and workflows; and manages platform access, licences, monitoring, governance and operational support.

Qualifications
- Experience supporting, configuring, integrating or administering enterprise SaaS or cloud platforms, including API integrations and identity and access management.
- Experience with or strong aptitude for generative AI platforms and services, such as Azure AI, OpenAI services, Microsoft Copilot or other enterprise LLM platforms.
- Experience in agile or collaborative technology delivery, including change management, release coordination, monitoring and incident response.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills; able to diagnose complex technical issues and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Configure, administer and support enterprise AI platforms, including ChatGPT Edu, Microsoft Azure AI, Copilot and Cogniti.
- Engineer and deploy AI agents, custom GPTs, Copilot agents, platform integrations and agentic workflows.
- Manage platform access, provisioning, licences, controls, monitoring, documentation and operational support.
- Collaborate with technical, governance, security, academic and business teams to deliver responsible AI capabilities securely and at scale.
