Job summary

The Microsoft Cloud & AI Platform Engineer is responsible for the administration, security, and governance of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform environments, ensuring compliance with data protection standards. This role involves evaluating new cloud services, developing technical standards, and creating AI and automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform.

• Extensive experience in administering Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
• Solid knowledge of Cloud Security and Governance with an understanding of modern cloud security architectures
• Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform; interest in developing AI and automation solutions
• Ability to assess cloud services and technical solutions for security, data protection, and compliance
• Strong understanding of data protection requirements and their technical implementation in enterprise cloud environments
• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or comparable IT education
• Passion for IT, analytical thinking, self-directed and solution-oriented work, and willingness to continuously learn new Microsoft cloud and AI technologies

Responsibilities

• Administration and development of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and AI environments focusing on security, governance, and compliance
• Evaluation of new cloud and AI services for security, data protection, and compliance; development of technical standards
• Administration and enhancement of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Purview
• Design and implementation of data classification and protection policies
• Governance of Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio, including environment concepts, connectors, permissions, and DLP policies
• Development and operation of AI agents and automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform
• Secure integration of internal data sources and applications like SharePoint and Dynamics 365
• Development of monitoring, logging, and audit concepts for cloud and AI solutions
• Documentation and standardization of platforms and solutions
