Job summary

As a DevOps Engineer in Aerospace & Space, you will bridge development and operations to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and maintenance of software systems for aerospace applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or space industries is a plus
• Understanding of IT security standards and compliance requirements
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for aerospace software projects
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes
• Manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
• Ensure scalability, security, and compliance with aerospace industry standards
• Collaborate with software developers, system engineers, and IT teams
• Support agile methodologies to enhance productivity
• Implement monitoring tools to track system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
• Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with cybersecurity standards
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies
