• HBO-level education or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Practical experience with AWS; Azure experience is an advantage.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker containerization.
• Knowledge of networking, including WAF, DNS, routing, load balancing, and TLS.
• Knowledge of security principles, including least privilege, secrets, and patching.
• Familiarity with databases and reliability practices, including backups, restores, performance, and monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot systematically, remain calm during incidents, and communicate progress and impact clearly.
• Scripting or automation experience, for example with Bash, Python, or Terraform, is an advantage.
• Willingness to collaborate and coordinate actively with colleagues and application teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve incidents across infrastructure, platforms, middleware, and applications; conduct root-cause analyses and implement lasting improvements.
• Participate in standby and on-call duties.
• Deploy applications and configure the Kubernetes platform.
• Apply security and compliance practices, including hardening, least-privilege access, logging, and vulnerability follow-up.
• Support databases and data services, focusing on availability, backups, and performance.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines, and document runbooks.
• Coordinate changes, releases, and platform improvements with application teams, contributing to a better developer experience.
