Job summary

Enable engineering teams to deliver scalable and resilient digital services by embedding performance and resilience practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Software development experience with distributed, high-performing systems using Python, React, Node.js, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with cloud computing, specifically AWS or Azure, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with observability tools and service level objectives.
• Proactive attitude to problem-solving and identifying bottlenecks.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD implementation and agile DevOps methods.
• Understanding of non-functional testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive shift-left performance and resilience engineering by embedding non-functional testing, reliability, and scalability validation.
• Integrate automated performance and resilience validation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Enable engineering teams through self-service capabilities and provide tooling and guidance.
• Define and champion engineering best practices, including SLOs and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Platform, Architecture, and SRE teams to design resilient solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and chaos engineering.
• Shape the development of an in-house framework for engineering teams.
