Vod*** is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to lead the design and improvement of cloud platforms on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. The role involves automating operational tasks, mentoring engineers, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to improve developer experience.

Qualifications

• Experienced Site Reliability Engineer with cloud and software engineering skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD tooling.
• Proficient in Python and Go for automation.
• Confident in leading investigations during production incidents.
• Understanding of AI-powered tooling for productivity and efficiency.
• Effective communication with engineers and stakeholders.
• Ability to mentor engineers and improve service quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and improvement of cloud platforms on AWS.
• Drive a culture of automation by replacing repetitive operational work.
• Enable engineering teams to leverage metrics and tracing using Datadog.
• Partner with teams to build and operate platforms for rapid delivery.
• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines and engineering tooling.
• Improve logging, monitoring, and operational visibility.
• Participate in and enhance the on-call experience.
• Coach and mentor engineers in modern SRE practices.
