Job summary
The KVB is seeking a working student for IT security in software development (DevSecOps) to support the further development of the DevSecOps approach, focusing on Security by Design, automation, and culture. This role involves contributing to the IT security of products and services, expanding and monitoring DevSecOps processes, and evaluating best practices and tools. The position is available in Munich or Augsburg.
Qualifications
- Student in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of common development methods and DevOps technologies
- Basic experience with CI/CD tools
- Programming experience, preferably Java
- Prior knowledge of CI/CD best practices, Offensive Security, or Secure Coding is an advantage
- Enthusiasm for designing and optimizing processes and simplifying them through automation and tooling
- Independent and structured work approach with high willingness to learn
- Good communication skills in German and English
Responsibilities
- Support the further development of the DevSecOps approach for product teams, focusing on Security by Design, automation, and culture
- Contribute to the IT security of products and IT services
- Support the expansion, operation, and monitoring of DevSecOps processes
- Maintain and develop tools, pipelines, and metrics for IT security
- Evaluate and document best practices and tools in the DevSecOps environment
- Support the automation of security checks
