Job summary
The Windows Platform Engineer maintains, automates, and improves a secure Windows platform supporting confidential government information within a Linux-first infrastructure. The role includes automating administration and deployments, monitoring performance and security with Elastic/Kibana and Zabbix, leading lifecycle and security work, and resolving complex incidents in a sovereign, air-gapped environment. The team is also preparing to migrate to a hybrid multicloud environment.

Qualifications
- At least HBO-level education or equivalent working level, demonstrated through education or experience.
- Recent, broad experience with Windows Server and related components.
- Demonstrated experience with PowerShell.
- Demonstrated experience independently automating processes.
- Familiarity with and interest in Linux.
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties in a 24/7 environment.
- Ability to collaborate in a small team.
Responsibilities
- Automate administration and deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize performance and security using Elastic/Kibana and Zabbix.
- Participate in and lead lifecycle and security projects.
- Analyze and resolve complex incidents, turning findings into lasting improvements.
- Develop and improve platform building blocks, administration standards, and documentation.
- Monitor the environment and manage incidents as the duty administrator.
