Windows Systems Administrator

Job summary

Seeking a seasoned System Administrator with strong knowledge in system management, operations, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related technical discipline preferred
• 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
• 5 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education
• MS Active Directory administration experience
• Experience providing services to the federal government preferred
• Ability to work extra hours and weekends as required
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of IIS and Windows Server technologies
• Scripting experience, with preference to PowerShell
• Experience installing, supporting, and troubleshooting Commercial Off The Shelf products
• Agility mindset towards solving problems beyond assigned specialty
• Participate in technical research and development for continuous innovation
• Resolve a wide range of system hardware and application technology issues
• Ensure adherence to organizational SLAs for systems and procedures
• Troubleshoot basic issues including user setup, roles, and permissions
• Support testing cycles and user training
• Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems
