Job summary

The role focuses on the operation, maintenance, and development of Open-Source web applications on cloud infrastructure, ensuring system availability, performance, and security. Key responsibilities include implementing security best practices, developing data pipelines, and contributing to large-scale assessments in educational research, utilizing technologies such as Python, Bash, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Completed education (Master Uni / FH) in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent
• Experience in a research-related environment preferred
• Strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration in educational research
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environment
• Command-line proficiency
• Awareness of data protection and data security
• High self-organization and independent working style
• Ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills for external collaboration
• Willingness to learn and flexibility in changing environments
• Very good English skills, good knowledge of a national language
