Job summary
TK Elevator is seeking a Working Student – QA Test Engineer to execute and maintain manual and automated test cases, document and track test results, and support the QA team in daily testing activities. The role involves collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery and enforcing QA adherence to Azure DevOps workflow standards.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
- Conceptual understanding of software development life cycle and testing principles.
- Willingness to develop skills in software testing.
- Initial hands-on experience in software testing, ideally with a development perspective.
- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira and/or Confluence is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain manual and automated test cases based on specifications.
- Create test data, update test steps, and document results.
- Document, analyze, and track test results.
- Log defects and follow up on their resolution with development and QA teams.
- Support the QA team in daily testing activities.
- Contribute to the validation of new and existing functionalities.
- Independently test new features based on requirements.
- Identify defects and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Maintain test-related documentation.
- Ensure transparency of testing progress and outcomes.
- Review and enforce QA adherence to Azure DevOps workflow standards.
- Ensure ticket completeness, traceable test coverage, and evidence attachment.
- Ensure defect validation and proper linkage between PBIs, bugs, test cases, and features throughout the delivery lifecycle.
