Job summary

The Zscaler Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role is dedicated to maintaining a secure cloud and network infrastructure, focusing on reliability, automation, and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include enhancing cloud infrastructure performance, implementing monitoring solutions, automating tasks with Infrastructure as Code, and supporting CI/CD processes, particularly with Zscaler technologies and Zero Trust architectures.

Qualifications

• This role requires Security Clearance with the Canadian government, hence the applicant must be a Canadian Citizen with 10 years verifiable history on Canadian soil.
• Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and Zscaler technologies is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement and support monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure management through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
• Assist in the implementation and support of Zero Trust and secure access technologies, including Zscaler solutions.
• Contribute to capacity planning, incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in system performance reviews and reliability engineering activities.
