VettedAbout
I'm a Staff-level infrastructure engineer with 20+ years of experience across build and release engineering, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and DevOps — with the last several years focused on designing and optimizing the systems software teams depend on to ship reliably. At Nymi, I built a full Jenkins CI/CD platform on AWS from scratch — then came back years later to optimize and extend it. At Nylas, I managed a high-throughput ElasticSearch cluster and led AWS cost reduction initiatives across a production API platform serving thousands of developers. I was an original member of the Node.js Docker Working Group, where I maintained the official Node.js Docker image — managing version updates, automating build and test workflows, and introducing slim and alpine variants that reduced image size for millions of downstream users. I presented this work at DockerCon 2015. I'm an early adopter of AI coding agents — I've been using tools like Claude Code and Factory Droid in my personal infrastructure projects for the past year, and I'm closely tracking how agent-assisted development is reshaping infrastructure workflows. Currently open to senior IC and Staff-level DevOps and infrastructure roles — remote or hybrid, ideally with a strong engineering culture and meaningful technical challenges.
