Working at trivago with large scale systems, I am a seasoned DevOps engineer with 5 years of experience, currently in the 6th year of my career, transitioning to a Platform Engineer role. My current project involves building an Integrated Development Platform to extend Google Cloud Platform (GCP) along with Google Kubernetes Engine capabilities to on-premises datacenter. I am implementing GitOps methodologies, enabling developers to determine the deployment of their applications. Working with a product mindset, I am responsible for establishing golden paths and guard rails, ensuring best practices and preventing deviations. I'm also designing a comprehensive monitoring and alerting system for both infrastructure and customer workloads from scratch. This system will provide real-time insights and rapid response capabilities, enhancing reliability and performance. In addition to my DevOps and Platform Engineering skills, In have over 6 years of engineering experience in Python, further enriching my technical expertise. My diverse skill set and forward-thinking approach makes me a valuable asset in the evolving cloud computing landscape.
