Software Engineer doing Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), passionate about building and maintaining large-scale, reliable applications. Originally from Luxor, Egypt, I was fortunate to receive two prestigious full scholarships from USAID, which allowed me to graduate from the Faculty of Computer Engineering at Cairo University and spend a semester at San José State University in California. Currently, at ALJF, I have built and maintain Kubernetes production clusters, handling system design, monitoring, cloud billing, and facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams. Previously, I worked at SilverKey Technologies, managing Linux and Windows production servers and contributing to the “Buy Now Pay Later” project for Banque du Caire. My graduation project focused on “Photogrammetry: Close Range 3D Scanning,” showcasing my dedication to research and development. Committed to making people’s lives easier, safer, and smarter through technology, I actively blog and aim to contribute more to open-source projects while enhancing my SRE skills.
