From the time I was first introduced to computers, I’ve had a passion for understanding how technology works behind the scenes. That fascination has driven me through a dynamic 10+ year career in IT, with the last several years specializing in DevOps and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes. My path started with hands-on Linux systems administration and evolved into mastering the automation and orchestration that makes today’s cloud infrastructure efficient and scalable. At Amazon Web Services, where I serve as a Senior Cloud Support Engineer, I’ve had the unique opportunity to work with some of the most advanced technologies in the world. Every day, I assist clients in resolving complex cloud infrastructure issues, with a particular focus on containerized environments such as EKS and ECS. My role involves not just firefighting but providing proactive solutions through root cause analysis, process improvement, and technical training for internal teams. I take pride in being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on container technologies while also contributing to AWS’s public knowledge base, with articles and code samples viewed by thousands of users globally. One of my strengths is the ability to bridge the gap between development and operations. I’ve designed and implemented automation scripts that save time, eliminate human error, and create consistency across environments, from on-premise to the cloud. My proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and ArgoCD allows me to design infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions that ensure reproducibility and security at scale. Beyond the technical skills, I bring a passion for mentoring and fostering growth in others. Whether it’s guiding new engineers through their first Kubernetes deployment or sharing best practices for CI/CD pipelines, I believe in the power of collaboration to elevate team performance. At my core, I’m a problem solver, fueled by curiosity and the drive to create solutions that not only meet the immediate need but anticipate future challenges. I’m always learning, whether it’s from exploring new open-source projects in my homelab or pursuing formal education in Cybersecurity at Georgia Tech. If you’re looking for someone who’s not just technically proficient, but also deeply invested in advancing team performance and business outcomes, I believe my background makes me an ideal candidate. I thrive in environments that encourage innovation, and I’m excited about opportunities where I can make a lasting impact.
